Sacred Elements

September 12th-17th 2025 at Antiparos island, Greece

A Qigong retreat to restore your vital energy on the breathtaking Greek island, Antiparos hosted in collaboration with Fykiada Retreats.

Stephanie will guide us to experience the transformative power of Primordial Qigong, an ancient practice designed to treat and prevent ailments, enhancing your overall health and well-being. This retreat focuses on harnessing the five Chinese elements—Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal, and Water—to restore your original essence and strengthen your vital energy.

In this retreat, you’ll learn the “primordial Qigong” routine, a key practice in medical Qigong, an ancient form of energy healing. This style helps you connect with surrounding energies to restore inner vitality. Through daily sessions, Stephanie will guide you through all 12 exercises of the primordial Qigong set, promoting energy flow, grounding, and balance, while enhancing overall health. You'll also receive a printout explaining the benefits of each form. This practice is especially effective for women’s health, nervous system regulation, brain health, migraines, digestion, and spiritual reconnection.

In addition to QiGong mornings, we will practice restorative yin yoga with acupressure to boost energy flow. We’ll explore the Chinese 5 elements and their impact on your well-being, while daily meditations rooted in Taoism and Chinese medicine deepen your connection to yourself and nature.

What is QiGong?

The oldest branch of Traditional Chinese Energy Medicine, dating back to over 5000 years. “Qi”, means energy, or life force, and “gong”, means skill, or mastery. Qigong, therefore helps us work with our energy skilfully in order to master our personal power and potential for healing. Sometimes called Chinese yoga, Qigong combines gentle movement, breath, and meditation to cultivate, balance and harmonize our energy.

When & Where

September 12th-17th 2025 at Antiparos Island, Greece

A luxury collection of five private houses located on the southern tip of Antiparos. Their privileged location up on the hill offers an overwhelming view of the Aegean and the Ancient Sanctuary of Apollo in a safe haven from the elements.

Although the houses are blessed with the privacy and serenity of the hill, they are just 15’ walk away from the sea, and the vibrancy of the southern beaches of Antiparos. Each house offers uninterrupted view to the Aegean, minimal chic Cycladic design, and the unmatched silence of a protected bay.

What’s Included

A Glimpse of our Days

Our days are based on flow. A balanced blend of movement, rest and adventure. There’s a suggested schedule but everyday is different. The group has a life of its own and we love syncing to the magic that unfolds.

We are together, but free to be alone. We go on adventures, like walking on the coast and finding coves and rocks to dive from, and taking the boat to hop on the nearby islands. Lots of sun, sea, and sun. Lots of silence, laughs, conversations, and solitude.

Nourishment

Food in Antiparos is what we call in Greek ‘evdaimonia’= the joy of the spirit. Is described as food for the soul, the subtle body and the eyes. Food prepared by our retreat chef with deep knowledge of Greek culture, macrobiotic nutrition and respect to the land.

Freshly baked bread, colourful salads, fresh fruits, nourishing microgreens grown on our counter, homemade kombucha, and all the traditional recipes you want to try from the hands of a local. Our retreats offer a morning snack, brunch & dinner while tea, coffee, fruits and delicious leftovers are in abundance the whole day.

Take me there!

Even though Antiparos is a separate island, it depends on its big sister Paros for connection to the rest of the world, thought the ports of Pounda and Paroikia. Paros is very well connected to Athens in two ways:

by air: Direct flights from Athens take less than 40' and are currently run by two airlines, Aegean Airlines and SkyExpress.

by ferry: fast and efficient ferry services connecting the main port of Paros (Paroikia) with Athens run year-round, and with even greater frequency in the summer months.

Crossing from Paros to Antiparos: ferries depart from the main port (Paroikia) as well as Pounta. They generally run every 45 minutes to 1 hour in the summer months. The actual crossing takes 5min from Pounta and 30min from Paroikia and tickets can be bought on the ferry - no need to book in advance. For an up-to-date schedule click here.

From Antiparos port, transfers are included in the retreat cost.

We advise our guests to allow one day prior and after the retreat for their travelling and book flexible or refundable plane tickets. You may use ferryhopper.com to check the ferries schedule and book your boat tickets online.

*Flights and boat tickets are not included in the retreat prices mentioned above.

Meet Stephanie

I came to Qigong and Chinese medicine through yoga. I started practicing yoga at 15 and was guided to take a first-year religious studies class during my first year of university. I immediately fell in love with the spiritual traditions of the East and decided to major in religious studies. I was introduced to Taoism and Buddhism through my academic studies, which led me to delve deeper into yoga in India. It was in India that I discovered yin yoga.

After experiencing yin yoga during my travels and studies, my teacher, Sarah Powers, blended Chinese medicine theory with yin yoga, and I was compelled to learn more! I began studying Qigong wherever I could while simultaneously being deeply inspired by the Buddha Dharma, leading me to practice meditation during long silent retreats. I later went back to school and got degrees in education, and counselling, which has shaped the way I create learning spaces, and safe psychological spaces for transformation.
